STEAMinnovation is a science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) subscription kits company designed and created to expose children of color to STEAM. The mission of the company is to ensure that STEAM is readily available to all children in pre-k and elementary school.

STEAMinnovation’s goal is to break down barriers, push boundaries, and open doors so children of color have an opportunity to get exposure to STEAM.
STEAMinnovation understands the benefits of exposing children to STEAM in early childhood development. STEAM is beneficial for their future to help develop certain skills that they will inevitably need.
Exposure to STEAM increases their creativity, hands-on learning, develops their growth mindset, encourages critical thinking, problem solving and innovation, creates spatial awareness, and
prepares them for careers in the future.
STEAMinnovation was created in 2022, by Jasmine Carroll, a mother of three who has a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. Dr. Carroll has been in the educational sector for over a decade and her passion lies in creating future innovators and leaders who are not only confident but know their self-worth.
Dr. Carroll wants to ensure that ALL children have the same opportunity to be exposed to STEAM, regardless of race, gender, or socioeconomics. Studies show that children of color and girls are underrepresented in STEAM education.
Dr. Carroll understands that moms are busy juggling multiple things at one time, she is a mom just like you. She felt that planning, shopping, and preparing STEAM activities was time consuming. She would rather spend that time with her children making memories. She kept thinking “I wish there was a kit that contained fun STEAM activities that could come to my doorstep each month. A fun activity kit that kids can do by themselves with minimal adult supervision, or a kit that I, my husband, or the grandparents can do with them".
So, she created a solution for not only her own family, but the STEAMinnovation family! And STEAMinnovation was created!
